ZEISS, an international leader in the fields of optics and optoelectronics, announced today they will be demonstrating the ZEISS VR ONE Virtual Reality (VR) / Augmented Reality (AR) wireless smartphone headset at the upcoming Showstoppers / CE Week Conference and Expo, (#133) in the Altman Building at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 W. 18th St. NY, NY, June 24-25, 2015.
The VR ONE utilizes ZEISS innovative optical design producing clear, sharp picture quality from image center to edge delivering an outstanding VR experience. Smartphone-specific trays for devices from 4.7” to 5.2” guarantee optimal screen positioning when inserted into the ZEISS VR ONE to display a detailed, vibrant image with approximately a 100-degree field-of-view. The ZEISS VR ONE accelerated head-tracking takes full advantage of the smartphone’s built-in accelerometer to smoothly change point-of-view within the VR environment as a wearer’s head is moved.
At CE Week the ZEISS VR ONE will be demonstrated along with an exciting, fast growing catalog of Android and iOS apps available on Google Play and iTunes, plus an eco-system of VR ONE compatible “Internet of Things” devices that showcase a wide range of exciting and entertaining VR capabilities.
